Criteria for Membership

Membership of the Association is open to individuals employed in connection with mechanical plant in Building, Civil Engineering, Quarrying, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Plant Manufacturers and Plant Services. This offers them the advantages normally only available to companies.

What are the benefits of joining the CMPE?

The opportunity to network with useful contacts, suppliers and potential clients within the industry on a nationwide scale. Attend presentation evenings 10 months of the year on industry related matters. Keep up to date with legislation and other important matters within the industry. Share and exchange experiences within the industry. Access to member discounts on insurance, training and more. Host your clients, colleagues and friends at social evenings.

How do I join the CMPE?

Firstly, Decide which branch is nearest to you and therefore your most appopriate to join, then you have two choices: Complete the online contact application by clicking the Paypal symbol on your chosen Branch Page of this website by following the link to the Branch from the list on the right. The National Secretary will send a full application form by email for you to complete and return to the branch. Alternatively, download the application form and complete it and return it to the Branch Secretary of your chosen Branch together with a cheque for your joining fee and membership subscription. All applications then go to Branch Committee for approval prior to full membership being granted.
