Manchester Branch
A word from the Chairman, David Wynne:
Manchester Branch which covers the whole of Greater Manchester and parts of Lancashire and Cheshire, was formed in 1964.
I have been a member since 1973 and served as a Liaison Officer for several years and I have been Branch Chairman twice. The first time being 1983-84 and for the past 4 years to the present day.
CMPE is an association of individuals but its is not just Plant Hire and Manufactorers who are members. Associated industries such as transport, tyres, oils, hydraulic hoses etc. may also be members and everyone is welcome.
We hold our meetings at Denton Golf Course, which is easy to get to as it's just off Juntion 24 of the M60 and we have presentations from most of the manufacturers such as JCB, CAT, Volvo, vehicle dealers, Load Chains, hire desl computer systems, in fact anything a member suggests we will consider as a presentation to the branch.
To keep you informed of everything that is going on both at branch and National level, a monthly newsletter is either e.mailed or posted to all branch members and National Officers.
Everyone with an interest in the industry is welcome
