Why choose the CMPE CoC Scheme

  • It is the only national operator registration and certificate scheme to provide an excellent more expensive similar schemes.
  • It was the original operator certificate scheme in the country, founded entirely on an employer's assessment of the operator for a very side range of industries and machines.
  • The modern CoC complies with the latest recommendations from the machine and equipment users.
  • It satisfies fully the published Codes of Practice recognised by the HSE.
  • It was the first scheme to introduce the log-book system, where an operator's experience can be recorded.  This is now nationally recognised as an invaluable benchmark to ensure operators have the correct experience to meet the latest legislation.

  • To obtain a CoC applicants must have a Safety Test Certificate to prove they are safety aware.
  • The CoC is flexible and can be tailored to meet an employers specific requirement.
  • It offers a better value for money than similar schemes and members of the CMPE obtain a further discount so the cost to them is even lower.
  • It is issued to operators in a conveniently credit-card sized wallet.
  • Applications to join the scheme are handled locally, processed quickly and problems resolved by knowledgeable local registrars.
