How do I become a member?

To apply for membership of the Contractors Mechanical Plant Engineers decide on a branch nearest you from the list in the right hand column, then click on PAYPAL   (This takes a few seconds).    Complete the form and you will soon hear from Wendy Pitches, our National Secretary.   Wendy will make arrangements for you to visit the Branch and meet some of the local members.

When and where do CMPE meetings take place?

Select your closest branch from the right hand menu to get the particular details for your representatives, contacts and meeting details.   There is a google map to help you find the meeting place.  If visiting as a guest, always check with the Branch Secretary in case there is a change of venue or time etc.

Advantages of membership.

Membership of the Association is open to individuals employed in connection with mechanical plant in Building, Civil Engineering, Quarrying, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Plant Manufacturing and Plant Services.   This offers advantages that are normally only available to companies; insurance schemes and discounts, subscriptions at favourable rates, Health and Safety updates with acceess to backup information, contact at all levels with others of similar interests and a voice to air views through national representation.    Branch meetings are usually monthly and the content varies from a manufacturer's presentation to discussion on the latest Government edict on how we should run our business.   Social events allow a member to entertain a customer in pleasant surroundings and each branch holds an annual general meeting to sort out the committee.   Why not come along to a meeting to see whether it suits you?
